Have a swing in your step? Let the music take your soul for a dance this and every Thursday for Summer Jazz at Stanford Shopping Center. Bring your own chair! Location 660 Stanford Shopping Ctr. and music starts at 6 p.m.
Start off your Saturday morning with breakfast at Patagonia as the outdoor adventure retailer hosts its annual celebration and award ceremony recognizing local non-profits involved with grassroots environmental efforts. The events takes place at 525 Alma St. and begins at 10 a.m.
Right afterward, walk over to meet and greet Assemblyman Rich Gordon. Gordon is hosting office hours this Saturday, June 22 starting at 10 a.m. at Hamilton and Gillman Streets in Palo Alto.
Looking for that perfectly unique side table or your favorite childhood book? Check out these two garage sales this Saturday June 22: a multi-family one at Middlefield Road and Oregon Expressway from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. and another at 571 Georgia Street in the Barron Park neighborhood. Encourage your kids to run for other kids in the third annual Packard Summer Scamper benefiting Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. The 5k walk/run, 10k run, kids’ fun run courses travel through the beautiful Stanford campus. For kids ages 3-10. Sunday, June 23 at 8 a.m. Meet at Sand Hill Fields at Stock Farm and Oak Roads, Stanford University.
