Caltrain Preps For Stanford Football Saturday

With the Cardinal taking on the Oregon Ducks at 4 p.m., the transit agency will expand pre- and post-game service.

PALO ALTO, CA — The college football season is in full swing with the Stanford Cardinal taking on the Oregon Ducks on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Caltrain is gearing up to deliver fans of the classic Pac 12 match up to and from Stanford Stadium for the game. The transit agency is providing both pre-game and post-game service to and from the Stanford Stadium Station for all weekend Cardinal home games this season.

As a reminder, there are no ticket machines at the Stanford Stadium Station. Riders are advised to purchase a Caltrain Day Pass at their departure station or use the Caltrain Mobile ticketing app before boarding the train to the game.

Parking at Caltrain stations costs $5.50 for the day, and permits can be purchased through ticket machines on site. Paid parking rules are enforced throughout the day.
