Caltrain Strikes Unoccupied Vehicle On Palo Alto Tracks

Emergency personnel showed up to investigate the crash that occurred Friday at 8:41 p.m. at the Charleston Road crossing.

PALO ALTO, CA — A southbound Caltrain car struck an unoccupied vehicle at the Charleston Road crossing in Palo Alto Friday night, the transit agency reported.

Emergency personnel were on the scene to investigate the crash called in at 8:41 p.m. in which train movement stopped.

About 300 passengers were onboard train No. 190 during the time of the incident, with no reported injuries. Passengers experienced delays of up to 95 minutes.
