Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a face covering except in areas where masks are required by everyone, regardless of vaccination status (public transit, indoor at schools, childcare & other youth settings, healthcare facilities, correctional facilities, detention, homeless and emergency shelters, and cooling centers).

Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask in indoor public settings and businesses (retail, restaurant, theaters, family entertainment centers, meetings, state and local government officers serving the public), though there are several exceptions noted in the Order.
Cal/OSHA is revisiting stricter workplace rules this Thursday and it's possible the Governor may issue an Executive Order following Cal/OSHA's findings.
