Driver Injured in Crash on Highway 101 Wednesday Night
Incident caused lanes closures and delays.
A driver suffered serious injuries when his Toyota 4Runner crashed into a wall along U.S. Highway 101 in Palo Alto tonight, the California Highway Patrol said.
The driver had been speeding while going south on Highway 101 near the Oregon Expressway onramp at about 10:26 p.m. when the Toyota hit the highway wall and left the driver unconscious, the CHP said.
The driver potentially needed extraction from the vehicle and the CHP announced at 10:48 p.m. that the three left lanes of the highway were blocked.
