CALIFORNIA — Earth Day is this Sunday, April 22 and to celebrate, many online and brick-and-mortar retailers are offering deals and discounts for shoppers this weekend. • Best Buy: Get up to 35 percent off appliances through April 25. The sale includes various energy-efficient models. Plus, buy two appliances totaling $1,499 or more, and get a free Amazon Echo (2nd generation).

• Guitar Center: In a partnership with string brand D’Addario, Guitar Center locations nationwide will hold an Earth Day celebration on Earth Day weekend (April 21 and 22).
