Six individuals will be formally recognized who helped ensure that the community is safer and better prepared for emergencies.
A discussion on Disaster Response from a panel of experts will follow the ceremony. Also scheduled is Vice Mayor Yiaway Yeh, who will host the 2011 Community Partnership recognition. He will be joined by Pamela Antil, Assistant City Manager, and Police/Fire Chief Dennis Burns. A reception follows the event.
