Fashion Guru Expands West With McMullen Boutique In Palo Alto

PALO ALTO, CA — A new shop with longtime East Bay roots has opened in swanky Palo Alto.

Sherri McMullen, who embodies the Uptown Oakland hip style, has brought her flagship store across the San Francisco Bay by opening the McMullen Boutique about a week ago as a second location at the Town and Country Village.

The trendy shop is situated at 855 El Camino Real, No. 36 in Palo Alto where Intermix once sat.

"We've been seeing a growing clientele from the Silicon Valley, among them are dynamic women and leaders within tech, art, philanthropy and business who want curated, distinctive fashion and experiences," McMullen said. "Our Palo Alto boutique will enable us to better serve clients throughout the Bay Area, and gives us more space to elevate the top, current fashion."

The shops also often serve to showcase the work of emerging designers as they found their spot in the national spotlight.

From the original shop's opening in 2007, McMullen has become a Bay Area favorite for luxury-fashion clothing and accessories, with a strong e-commerce presence for those who cannot shop in person or who want to see the latest from this coveted boutique.

McMullen has also recently introduced home goods and accessories to their stores. She has tapped Bay Area Interior Designer Rodney Haynes in featuring a collective ensemble that highlights global influences.
