Menlo Park Police Seek Help From Witnesses To Shooting Scene

Menlo Park Police responded to a call Sunday evening of an argument followed by gunshots, found one expended shell but have no suspects.

MENLO PARK, CA — Officers need the public's help in gathering information and perhaps a suspect regarding an argument-turned-gunshot report, the Menlo Park Police Department indicated Monday.

The 911 call at 4:58 p.m. Sunday involved "a verbal altercation" between the occupants of an unknown model black sedan and a gray Lexus SUV near the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Market Place.

During the interaction, a subject at large fired one round from a firearm in an unknown direction from the black sedan. The involved vehicles then fled the scene in separate directions.There were no additional witnesses, and officers located one expended shell casing at the scene.

No was reported as hurt in the incident.

Officers subsequently located the gray Lexus SUV, and the occupants claimed to have no knowledge of the incident.
