Investigators say the victim obliged the robbers and turned over his wallet, which contained at least $800.

The victim told police the suspects then walked eastbound on Chilco Street as they removed the cash from the wallet and dropped the empty wallet near the hood of his car.

With an alert that the suspects had fled southbound on Hamilton Avenue, Menlo Park police say they immediately searched the area, but were unable to find the pair.

Police say the victim was not physically injured in the incident.

Here is the description of the two suspects as issued by Menlo Park police:

  • Suspect #1 is described as a black male in his 20's, about 5'11" tall, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds wearing a black ski mask that covered his entire head except for his eyes. • Suspect #2 is described as a Hispanic or Pacific Islander man in his 20's, about 6' tall, with a thinner build, weighing about 180 pounds. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head and the strings of the hood tied in front of his face, limiting the victim’s view of Suspect #2's face.
