Palo Alto ACE Honored as Bay Area Top Workplace

Of all places, Palo Alto's own Hassett ACE Hardware has been named one of The Bay Area News Group’s Top Workplaces in 2013.

The awards are given out based only on employee feedback. Workers across the Bay Area filled out surveys conducted by Workplace Dynamics, resulting in 95 businesses across the region receiving accolades. 

Results of the survey showed that Hassett ACE Hardware has a "commitment to professional development, fostering an excellent work environment and its high levels of customer service." 

There are four Hassett ACE locations, including the one at 875 Alma St. in Palo Alto. The others are in Half Moon Bay, San Mateo and Willow Glen next to Campbell.

"Hassett ACE Hardware is thrilled to be employee-voted as a Best Place to Work in the Bay Area," Brand Manager Jocelyn Broyles said. "For the past two years, we have been creating a culture where our employees feel empowered, heard and supported and truly enjoy coming to work. This is an ongoing process, driven by our employees and their feedback, and we are so excited to see we're on the right track."

Hassett ACE Hardware has been family owned and operated locally since 1957. The ACE brand has been around for nearly 90 years.

Other businesses to receive the award in Palo Alto include Sereno Group Real Estate, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Integrated Archive Systems, Inc., SAP and Bridge Bank.
