Palo Alto Armed Robbery Probed

Officers responded a to call Tuesday at around 9:15 p.m. reporting the robbery of a 76 gas station at 835 San Antonio Road, police said.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-7 man with a thin build of unknown race, about 25 years old according to police. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a red face covering, and light-colored jeans.

PALO ALTO, CA – Police are asking for the public’s help in the investigation an armed robbery of a Palo Alto gas station Tuesday night.

Officers responded a to call at around 9:15 p.m. reporting the robbery of a 76 gas station at 835 San Antonio Road, police said.

Responding officer were not able to locate the suspect, police said. No injuries were reported.

The suspect approached victim clerk, a man in his fifties, pointed a handgun at him, and demanded money from the cash register, police said.

The clerk complied, and the suspect then ran away westbound on East Charleston Road with an unspecified amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-7 man with a thin build of unknown race, about 25 years old according to police. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a red face covering, and light-colored jeans.

The weapon was described as a silver or white handgun.
