Palo Alto Children's Library Is Reopening By Appointment On April 13

Mitchell Park and Rinconada Libraries will reopen for limited services by appointment only later in May.

The Palo Alto City Library is planning a phased reopening of select branches for browsing and pickups, based on City, County, and CDC guidelines and restrictions starting later this month. The first phase of reopening will occur on April 13 as Children’s Library reopens to appointment only visits, browsing, and pickups. Appointments will be available starting April 9. Visitors will be required to wear face coverings, follow social distancing protocols and capacity limits per State and County public health restrictions. Mitchell Park and Rinconada Libraries will reopen for limited services by appointment only later in May. As reopenings occur, the Library will also be modifying Sidewalk Service availability.
