Palo Alto Fire Displaces Mother and Son Monday

The fire department responded to a two-alarm fire.

Palo Alto firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire in the Charleston Meadow neighborhood Monday, the San Jose Mercury reports.

The fire on the 400 block of James Road began shortly before 10 a.m. and the fire department extinguished it within 10 minutes of their arrival.

One apartment suffered damage to three interior rooms and displaced a mother and son. They were no injuries.
