Palo Alto Pays Tribute To Veterans
The city will be honoring Armed Forces veterans and all active duty service members at a Veterans Recognition Event.

On Monday, Nov. 4 the City will be honoring Armed Forces veterans and all active duty service member at a Veterans Recognition Event in King Plaza from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

The Palo Alto Fire Department will preside over the Presentation of the Colors and the Paly High School Choir will perform the National Anthem.
Speakers include Fire Chief Geo Blackshire, Police Chief Robert Jonsen, and Palo Alto Emergency Service Coordinator Nathaniel Rainey, who is a Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Cake and light refreshments will be served in the Community Meeting Room following the ceremony.
