Police Step Up Patrols After Palo Alto Church Is Vandalized

Police in Palo Alto are patrolling houses of worship after a historically black church was vandalized last weekend.

Police said if any crime occurs they will investigate and do their best to find and arrest the person or persons who were responsible.

PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto police want to assure residents that officers are regularly patrolling places of worship following the vandalism at a church last weekend, police said Thursday.

The vandalized church was on Middlefield Road. Police said if any crime occurs they will investigate and do their best to find and arrest the person or persons who were responsible.

Police said residents can do their part by promptly reporting any suspicious behavior to dispatchers at (650) 329-2413.
