Santa Clara Co. Library District To Expand Hours Next Week
Most locations will open at 10 a.m., and the district will open up its libraries for 18 additional hours.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — The Santa Clara County Library District will expand its hours of service beginning next Monday and is targeting the fall to resume evening hours and service seven days a week.
Most locations will open at 10 a.m., and the district will open up its libraries for 18 additional hours.
The new hours for the district’s libraries are:

- Cupertino, Milpitas, Los Altos and Saratoga Libraries: Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Campbell Express Library: Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Morgan Hill and Gilroy Libraries: Monday – Wednesday, 1 – 6 p.m., Thursday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Woodland Library: Monday – Saturday, 1 – 6 p.m.
“Offering additional service hours gives our patrons more options to come by the library at their convenience,” County Librarian Jennifer Weeks said in a news release.
The library district still requires visitors to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status, and to be free of COVID-19 symptoms before entering. Curbside holds pickup service is also available via appointment.
