SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County has linked with Stanford Health Care in continuing to operate a COVID-19 vaccine clinic in East Palo Alto at Ravenswood Middle School.

In a news release Thursday, the county announced that Stanford will help with the operational functions of the weekly clinic, located in an area that has been hard hit by the pandemic. County officials have attempted to prioritize East Palo Alto in access to vaccines, but the city has only vaccinated 49 percent of its residents as of Thursday, the lowest in the county. That figure is well behind the countywide mark of 77 percent.

Stanford will join the county, school and city in working to vaccinate East Palo Alto residents.
