State Sen. Josh Becker To Hold 'Fight Fire With Tech' Town Hall
The town hall, planned for Tuesday afternoon, will discuss recent innovations to combat wildfires.

MENLO PARK, CA — State Sen. Josh Becker (D-Menlo Park) will host an online town hall on Tuesday afternoon to discuss recent innovations to combat wildfires.
The town hall, called “Fight Fire with Tech,” will feature Jessica Morse, Deputy Secretary for Forest and Wildfire Resilience at California Natural Resources Agency and Jonathan Cox, Deputy Chief of Cal Fire’s San Mateo Division.
Representatives from the tech community will also be on hand.

“Here in the Bay Area, there are countless efforts underway to develop technology driven solutions to better respond to and reduce the risk of devastating wildfires,” Becker wrote on the event page. “Representing this district, I feel like I have an opportunity and a responsibility to help promising technologies connect with our state and local leaders that are fighting wildfires.”
