Suspects Steal 35 Firearms From Palo Alto Residence Overnight

Police are searching for unknown suspects who took four gun security cabinets from an unlocked garage in Palo Alto on Tuesday.

PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto police are searching for the suspects who stole 35 firearms from a residence overnight Tuesday.

In a news release, police said that four gun security cabinets containing the weapons were stolen from a home in the 700 block of Garland Drive after someone entered the unlocked garage. The suspects did not enter the residence.

A resident told police that the firearms were mostly shotguns and rifles. The weapons were all unloaded and registered, according to police.
