Water Restored to 100 Residents After Water Main Break

The break occurred during valve maintenance repair work.

A water main broke in the area of Middlefield Road and Sutter early this morning leaving water service suspended for about 100 customers.

The break occurred during valve maintenance repair work, but service was restored at 9:30 a.m.

The city of Palo Alto offered free delivery of drinking water in case of emergency.
