Week Ahead: Main Library Groundbreaking

Things to do in Palo Alto during the week of June 24.

Join the The City of Palo Alto Vice Mayor Nancy Shepherd who will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Main Library on Tuesday, June 25 at 2 p.m. near grassy area at 1213 Newell Rd. refreshments will be provided and the event is free and open to the public.

Did you know that strawberries are in season? Get your fruits and vegetables at the Veterans Affairs Hospitals Farmers Market every Wednesday this summer 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Enjoy watching some of the adventures of Pippi Longstocking as presented by the Friends of the Children’s Theatre, Wednesday, June 26 from 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Approximately one hour and recommended for children ages 4 and up. Bring a picnic for your family or purchase hotdogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, chips and soft drinks from the Friends of the Children’s Theatre.
