Woman Found Dead Next To Mountain View Movie Theater: Police

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — A woman was found dead near the front doors of a movie theater in Mountain View on Wednesday morning, according to police.

Mountain View detectives and the Santa Clara County Coroner are investigating the death. The woman's name was not released.

Police responded around 6:20 a.m. to reports of a woman in the driveway area near the front of the ShowPlace ICON Theatre on California Street. She was pronounced dead shortly after officers arrived.

The theater was closed until around 9 a.m.
