Women Win Bronze in 2013 Rugby World Cup

Stanford alumna Victoria Folayan contributes to the Eagles Sevens 10-5 win over Spain.

Despite lightning and torrential downpour at their Moscow venue, the USA Women's Eagle Sevens took home the bronze after defeating Spain 10-5.

Victoria Folayan, a Stanford University grad, helped get the team into the semi-finals by getting past two Irish defenders and scoring the Eagles second try. The women won that match 14-5.

The Mens Eagles Sevens failed to qualify for the semi-finals due to impressive, but inconsistent play.
