Biker In 'I Don't Stop 4 Cops' Sweatshirt Leads Police On Chase
Officers were undeterred by the message, chasing the biker for 90 minutes even as he stopped for gas and triggered a bomb scare in Pasadena.
PASADENA, CA — A motorcyclist wearing an "I Don’t Stop 4 Cops" sweatshirt led police on a high-speed chase across Los Angeles County that included a stop for gas and a bomb threat Monday.
The chase began in the Norwalk area and ended in a Pasadena parking garage at Green Street and Los Robles Avenue where the suspect triggered a bomb scare with a note left on his bike as police took him into custody, according to the Pasadena Police Department.
At about 12:30 p.m., the man hid in the garage before being found and arrested, said Lisa Derderian of the city of Pasadena. After the man was taken into custody, authorities summoned a bomb squad to the scene to make sure the parking garage was safe due to a concerning note that the motorcyclist left on the bike, Derderian said. The immediate area around the parking garage was under evacuation orders.

The chase began at about 11:10 a.m., when deputies from the sheriff's Norwalk Station tried to stop the motorcyclist for traffic violations, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The biker kept going, and authorities pursued him, but then transitioned to monitoring his progress by helicopter.
The 90-minute chase exceeded 100 mph hour at points, but it also included a brief stop in the middle of the chase at a gas station in Baldwin Park. A customer was putting gas into a vehicle when the biker pulled up and used that person's gas nozzle to pump some gas into the motorcycle's tank. He then sped off, and the chase resumed.
