Biker Killed In Pasadena Identified

Authorities identified a 47-year-old man killed in a crash in Pasadena over the weekend.

PASADENA, CA — Authorities Monday released the name of a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena.

Brian Anthony Brouwer, 47, of Rancho Cucamonga died at the scene of the crash, which occurred about 7:50 p.m. Friday near Rosemead Boulevard, the coroner's office reported.

Brouwer was riding a 2014 Honda CBR 650F "at a speed greater than 45 miles per hour, with no unusual roadway conditions," when he lost control of the motorcycle, according to a California Highway Patrol statement.
