Drink to Help Boston Victims at Pasadena Restaurants and Bars Saturday

Some Pasadena businesses are participating in Saturday's LADrinks2Boston fundraiser where they will donate a portion or all of proceeds to a fund for Boston bombing victims.

The Boston Marathon bombings may have taken place across the country, but the images were seen everywhere and many are wondering how to help.

It doesn’t get much easier than drinking and this Saturday you can do it for Boston.

Restaurants and bars across the Los Angeles area, including Pasadena, are participating in LADrinks2Boston, a recently organized effort where a portion--or in some cases all--of a business’s food or drink proceeds or fundraising activities Saturday will go to a fund set up by the City of Boston for those affected by the Boston Marathon attack.

Businesses can create whichever fundraising activity they want and LADrinks2Boston will feature it on their facebook page. Check the facebook page here for participants and updates.

Pasadena businesses participating so far are:

King's Row Gastropub will be making a Boston Pride Punch with Rum, Champagne, Luxardo cherry and lemon, for $6 a cup, and all proceeds will be donated to onefundboston.org.

Sushi Roku Pasadena is making a cocktail called “Boston Tea Party”. Green Tea, Vanilla Vodka, Fresh Yuzu, Agave nectar, priced at $7, and they will donate $1 for each one sold on Saturday April 27.

Vertical Wine Bistro will be offering a Boston Cream Pie Martini, ($12) and 100% of sales will be donated to onefundboston.org.

Dog Haus Biergarten is donating all proceeds from their $5 “Boston Strong Tea” on April 27.

Slater's 50/50 is donating 20% of proceeds from East Coast Brews; Samuel Adams, Clown Shoes, Magic Hat.

Trattoria Neapolis is donating 100% of proceeds from the sale of "Toast to Boston" (aka the Cherry Side Cah) - House infused Cherry Brandy, Cointreau, Fresh Lemon Juice, Boston Bitters, to onefundboston.org.
