Bungalow Heaven Home Tour Sunday
Stroll through history in Pasadena's first Landmark District.
If there’s question regarding the ability of Pasadena architecture to transport, ponder the name Bungalow Heaven.
Pasadena’s first Landmark District—added in 2008 to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places—Bungalow Heaven has one of the largest collections of Craftsman homes anywhere in the country, according to their website.
For those not content enough to "ooh" and "aah" through the neighborhood from the street, eight Arts and Crafts-era homes will be on display for the 24th Annual Bungalow Heaven Home Tour Sunday.

Hundreds of Craftsman houses were constructed in the Bungalow Heaven neighborhood from 1905 to 1925, according to the tour’s website, and are in good company with plenty of Spanish revival and English-style bungalows.
As far as home gazers and architecture and history buffs are concerned, Bungalow Heaven is not hyperbolically named.
