Car Crashes Into Old Pasadena Cheesecake Factory

The crashed occurred just before 6 a.m. near Colorado Boulevard and Fair Oaks Avenue, according to the Pasadena Fire Department.

PASADENA, CA — One person was injured Tuesday morning after a car crashed into The Cheesecake Factory on Colorado Boulevard in Old Pasadena.

The person, who was not identified, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, the Pasadena Fire Department said.

The crash was reported just before 6 a.m. Two cars collided near Colorado Boulevard and Fair Oaks Avenue in Old Pasadena, forcing one into the front of the restaurant, authorities said. Officials have not yet determined what led to the crash.

Inspectors with Pasadena Urban Search and Rescue were on the scene of the crash to determine the structural stability of the restaurant.

The restaurant closed as a result of the crash, and it’s unknown when it will reopen. Employees were inside the restaurant at the time of the incident but no injuries were reported, authorities said.
