The Coroner's Office today publicly identified the motorcyclist who was killed during a single-vehicle crash on a freeway onramp east of Pasadena.
The motorcyclist was identified as Carlos Kapun, 51, of El Monte, said Coroner's Lt. Cheryl MacWillie.
The crash was reported around 3:40 a.m. Saturday on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway onramp from northbound Rosemead Boulevard, said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.
Capun was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:53 a.m. Saturday by Arcadia Fire Department paramedics, Kimball said.
