Crosby Independent School District Calendar 2018-19: First Day

PASADENA, CA — The first day of School in Pasadena is August 16 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP. The Crosby Independent School District has released its 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/11: Elementary PLC

October

• 10/8: Staff Development
• 10/30: Elementary PLC

November

• 11/19-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/20: Early Release
• 12/21-12/31: Winter Break

January

• 1/1-1/4: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/7: Staff Development
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/29: Elementary PLC

February

• 2/18: Staff Development

March

• 3/11-3/15: No School (Spring Break)
• 3/26: Elementary PLC

April

• 4/19: No School

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)
• 5/30: Early Release Day, Last Day of School
• 5/31: Staff Development
