Did You Hear the Heat Break?
Temperatures are expected to cool down this week, offering a reprieve from withering triple-digit days.
It could be safer to open drapes and windows and emerge from your air-conditioned (if it works) cocoon this week. According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday promises to be about 90 degrees, a touch cooler than the past couple of days.
The news only improves as the week moves on. Look for temperatures ranging in the middle-to-upper 80s through Friday, then beginning Saturday, temperatures will be in the upper 80s during the day and the 60s at night. There's also no rain in the immediate forecast.
