Doo Dah Parade's Grand Marshal: Alan Zorthian

The man who cultivates the Zorthian Ranch in Altadena will be the Grand Marshal of the 36th Annual Doo Dah Parade on April 27, according to a report in the Pasadena Sun.

Alan Zorthian will be the latest in his family to serve in the parade as grand marshal. His cousin and his parents also assumed that role, according to the Sun.

Zorthian is credited with the renewal of the Zorthian Ranch property while honoring his parents, who passed away, with an archive of their art and life.
