Noor to Host End of the World Party

The Mayan calendar predicts the world will end Friday so Pasadena's Noor is throwing a bash to go out with a bang.

The end of the world is almost here, or so says the Mayan calendar.

If it’s true, then people in Pasadena can go out celebrating in style.

Paseo Colorado’s Noor (260 E. Colorado Blvd.), which hosts weddings and parties on every scale, is throwing an End of the World party Friday night from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. (or until the world ends).

The bash includes a “Last Wish Room where you might even see some of your most hoped for dreams come true,” according to the invite. World peace, anyone?

And a DJ will be spinning so you can “keep on dancin’ till the world ends,” as Britney Spears would say.

Tickets are $20 pre-sale or $25 at the door if still available. Those who “like” Noor on facebook can get a special code they posted that will get you two VIP tickets.

A portion of the night’s proceeds will benefit Levitt Pavilion, which sponsors 50 outdoor community concerts in Pasadena each summer.
