Glendale Fire: Pasadena Humane Society Offering Free Boarding for Evacuees' Pets
The Glendale area brush fire broke out Friday and prompted closures on the 2 and 134 freeways.

A fire broke out in the Glendale area Friday and burned approximately 75 acres as of 4:27 p.m., according to city officials.
Glendale officials established an evacuation center for those affected by the fire at the Adult Recreation Center at 201 E Colorado St.
Since evacuees often do not have a place for their pets, the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA is offering free boarding for evacuees' pets at no cost, the PHS announced via facebook and twitter Friday.
