Health Department Shuts Down Burger Continental
The popular restaurant scored a 61 out of 100 during an inspection on Aug. 28.

Roaches, poor cleaning practices and contaminated areas for food prep were among the litany of health violations found during an inspection at Burger Continental last week, which has forced the Health Department to shut down the eatery, according to a report in the Pasadena Star-News.
All told, Burger Continental racked up 14 critical violations and 62 non-critical violation, according to the Star-News. The restaurant scored an 61 out of 100, a drop from the its May 2012 score, when it earned a mark of 89 out of 100.
