Jacobs Awarded Bridge Contract for Edwards Air Force Base Research Laboratory

PASADENA, CA - Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced Wednesday it received a bridge contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide research operations support services for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory at Edwards Air Force Base.
The bridge contract is for a period of six months and is valued at $9.8 million, according to Pasadena-based Jacobs Engineering.
"As the incumbent contractor with more than 15 years of experience at Edwards, Jacobs' more than 100 propulsion and support professionals provide research operations support to the AFRL, including planning, scheduling, management and evaluation of liquid, solid, hybrid, electronic and chemical propulsion system tests," according to a company statement.
