Barney's Beanery Hosting Dodgers Viewing and Voting Parties

The parties Tuesday and Wednesday night at Barney's Beanery in Old Town Pasadena will promote rookie Yasiel Puig and first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and include giveaways and Dodgers crew member appearances.

The Dodgers are holding all-star viewing and voting parties this week and chose Barney’s Beanery in Pasadena as one of their celebratory spots.

The festivities began Monday night and will continue Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m.

The parties are promoting Dodgers rookie sensation Yasiel Puig and first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, who are two players among the five in Major League Baseball’s final vote balloting for the 2013 All-Star game in New York.

Prizes and tickets will be given away during game commercial breaks each night, including an opportunity for the ultimate Puig fan to meet Puig in person on Sunday, July 14, which is Puig T-Shirt Day at Dodger Stadium. 

“Fans are urged to show their Puigmania, and we’ll choose one of the craziest, most fun fans each night,” organizers announced.

“Puig campaign manager” Steve Garvey will be on hand Tuesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. as will Dodger Crew members, Vic “the Brick” Jacobs and the team from FOX SPORTS AM 570.
