'Put The Chicken In The Bag': CA Robbery Suspect Arrested
A man was arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Pasadena eatery, where he reportedly refused to wear a mask.
PASADENA, CA — A suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles that was reported last month, according to multiple reports. The man argued with employees and refused to wear a mask at the popular Pasadena restaurant, officials said.
On Feb. 3, surveillance cameras at the eatery at 830 S. N. Lake Ave. captured Steve Williams of Duarte in the middle of an argument with an employee over the restaurant's facial covering requirement, according to Lt. Carolyn Gordon of the Pasadena Police Department.
Williams, 43, reportedly pointed a gun at a cook and said "put the chicken in the bag," manager Angela Prieto said, according to NBC News.

"The suspect demanded a bag of food items and after receiving the filled bag, he took this food and several other food orders, which were waiting for customer to pick up," she said.
Police were deployed to the establishment after a suspect fled the scene in a dark-colored, four-door sedan, police said.
