Ongoing Metro Gold Line Wiring Problem Causes Delays
Metro Gold Line trains were being turned back from the Sierra Madre Station and Allen stations Monday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Train service was halted on a stretch of the Metro Gold Line in Pasadena Monday due to damaged overhead wires that power the trains.
The line damage occurred around 5:30 a.m. near the Gold Line's Allen Station. Metro initially halted trains between the Allen and Sierra Madre stations to the east, but the closure area was later extended west to the Lake Station.
Shuttle buses were brought into to carry passengers between the Lake and Sierra Madre stations.
