Older Woman Killed By Car In Pasadena While Crossing Street
The pedestrian, described as an older woman, was crossing an unmarked portion of Allen Avenue when a car struck her.
PASADENA, CA — A woman died Tuesday morning after being struck by a car while walking in Pasadena.
The Pasadena Police Department described the woman as an older adult but provided no more information about her. The driver of the SUV that struck the woman remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
Police responded to a report of a traffic incident in the 600 block of Allen Street just after 8 a.m., according to Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins. The woman had been crossing an unmarked portion of Allen Street when the car struck her. First responders pronounced her dead at the scene.

It’s unknown what led up to the crash, and the incident remains under investigation, police said.
