Today Pasadena Patch is debuting a column about Pasadena's alleys.
Pasadena is filled with alleys we pass by and through everyday and many of them have names and plaques describing who they are named for and the Pasadena history behind the alley name.
I've passed by these plaques countless times without reading or acknowledging them so chances are, in this fast-paced world, you may have done the same.
Today I'm highlighting Fraser Alley, which is just off De Lacey between Green Street and Colorado Blvd., next to the De Lacey parking structure.
Take a look at photos of the plaque explaining for who this alley was named and a photo of the alley itself. Next time you pass through that alley, you'll know what it's called and why.
Happy alley gazing!
What do you think of Pasadena naming alleys after certain people in the City's history?
