Pasadena City Hall Christmas Tree Lighting (Video)

People crowded into Pasadena City Hall's rotunda Thursday for the City Hall tree lighting ceremony from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Festive entertainment was provided by Pasadena Idol 2012 winner Chelsea J, the Blair IB Singers from Blair High School, the Hamilton Dance Troupe and the Hamilton Adventure Program Singers – both from Hamilton Elementary School.

When it came time for the big moment at 6 p.m., the crowd counted down and Miss Pasadena 2013 Amanda Alissa Perez, 21, and Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard lit the tree.
