Pasadena police today made public an image of a Spanish- speaking woman wanted for trying to claw the eyes out of another woman in a Target pharmacy.

The April 25 fight in the store at 777 E. Colorado Blvd. occurred about 7:40 p.m., police said. The aggressor allegedly cut in line in front of another woman at a customer service counter, triggering some name calling in Spanish, then a fight, police said.

The woman, wanted by police, described as being in her 30s, dropped her purse and began attacking the other woman, clawing at her eyes, police said. A store employee tried to intervene, but the aggressor grabbed her purse and fled, driving off in a dark-blue Jeep Cherokee, police said.

As she fled, a camera recorded images of her. She was described as a light-complexioned Latina, about 5 feet 4 inches and 140 pounds, with long wavy brown hair; she was wearing khaki pants and a blue collared shirt with a logo on the left breast.

Anyone with more information as to her name or whereabouts was asked to call detectives at (626) 744-4522.
