PUSD School Board District 3 Run-off Election April 16

Ruben Hueso and Tyron Hampton will face off.

Seats for Pasadena City Council and Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education were clearly chosen March 5, with the exception of PUSD District 3, which will have a run-off election April 16, according to Pasadena City Clerk Mark Jomsky.

Since no candidate in the District 3 race reached the required 51 percent majority of the vote, the two candidates with the highest number of votes in the March 5 election will face off.

Eligible voters can choose between Ruben Hueso, who received 49.9 percent of the vote March 5, and Tyron Hampton, who received 36.8 percent of the vote in the primary election.
