Thursday in Pasadena: Free Bourbon, Live Music, Outdoor Movie
Pasadena is home to more free live music, a bourbon tasting at Blind Donkey, food trucks and more Thursday, Aug. 8. What are your plans?

1. Blind Donkey (53 E. Union St.) is hosting a free Larceny Kentucky straight bourbon tasting at 6 p.m.
2. Food trucks, live music and more converge for another Playhouse District Block Party on El Molino Avenue between Colorado Blvd. and Green St. Cambalache - Cesar Castro & Xochi Flores perform this week at 8 p.m. Food trucks slated for this week are Lobsta Truck, Ludo Truck, Hungry Nomad, Jogasaki Burrito from 6-11 p.m., plus Selvedge Dry Goods, a truck selling vintage, eco-friendly and locally made products for wardrobe and home.
3. Levitt Pavilion Pasadena at Memorial Park continues its free concert series with lively folk and bluegrass group Whiskey Shivers at 8 p.m.

4. Free Movies in the Park continues with “Brave” at Villa-Parke Community Center (363 E. Villa St.) at 7:45 p.m.
5. Alert: If you see police and fire personnel at Washington Middle School today through Aug. 9 it is part of a training exercise to simulate emergency situations and response.
