Pasadena Week Ahead: New Playhouse Show, Canning Class, Craftsman Weekend Tickets

2. Tickets for the Pasadena Heritage 22nd annual Craftsman Weekend are now on sale. The weekend of historical home tours is October 18-20, 2013. See more about the 2013 Craftsman Weekend and tickets in this Patch announcement by Pasadena Heritage.

3. Pasadena’s Urban Homestead is teaching a canning class Tuesday where you can learn how to preserve seasonal produce from your garden or farmers’ market. If you are interested, read more about the Urban Homestead canning class and tickets here.

4. Letters from Zora debuts at the Pasadena Playhouse Thursday. The production is about Zora Neale Hurston, “writer anthropologist, voodoo priestess and overall Renaissance woman determined to live and die by her own mind,” notes writer Gabriele Pina.
