Muir Ranch Farm-to-Table Dinner
Friday, 5 p.m.-9 p.m., John Muir High School (1905 Lincoln Avenue)
The farm-to-table dinner will benefit Muir Ranch students and the Yes on Prop 37 campaign and will feature Muir Ranch edibles grown by students like three varieties of basil plus several foods from artisans and growers in the Los Angeles area. Find out more about the event and tickets here.

Friday-Sunday, various times, Pacific Asia Museum (46 N. Los Robles Ave.)
Pacific Asia Museum shares, “Artist Malik Abdul Rehman demonstrates traditional naqashi decorative painting and teaches basic techniques during a week-long residency. Visiting from Pakistan, Mr. Rehman comes from a long line of artists who have done exquisite decorative work and wall paintings.”

Urban Homestead Hootenanny
Sunday, 5 p.m.-11 p.m., Urban Homestead (631 Cypress Avenue)
Get down to good music and eat organic ice cream, sorbet and other handmade treats. Bring an instrument if you want to jam along at this outdoor event held at this Pasadena home-turned-urban farm. There’s a suggested donation of $5 or more.
