Pasadena Weekend: Tree Lighting, Snow Day, Holiday Celebration
Pasadena will be full of holiday spirit this weekend with three fun, free events.

Paseo Colorado's Annual Tree Lighting Celebration
Friday, Nov. 30, 6-8 p.m.; Paseo Colorado Shopping Center
This event will happen rain or shine and have appearances by Santa Claus, holiday carolers, Lineage Dance, and a special performance from season 2 contestant on NBC's The Voice Charlotte Sometimes. Enjoy complimentary popcorn provided by ArcLight Pasadena and more.

Vroman’s Snow Day
Saturday, Dec. 1, 2-4 p.m.; Vroman’s Bookstore
Vroman's Winter Wonderland will take place outside on the Paseo behind the main store and include an appearance by Frosty the Snowman, 5 tons of snow, and a mini snowman contest. Come at 2 p.m. to sign up for the snowman-making contest --spaces are limited so be prompt. The contest starts at 3 p.m. and be sure to bring your decorations for your snowman!

South Lake Holiday Celebration
Saturday, Dec. 1, noon-6 p.m.; 345 South Lake Avenue.
South Lake is ringing in the holidays with festivities that will include:
- Free Holiday Festivities
- In-Store Specials and Promotions
- Photos with Santa
- Holiday Characters
- A Scavenger Hunt
- Horse and Carriage Rides
- Live Music and Carolers
- Holiday Crafts for the Kids
- Prizes
Plus free parking provided by Corporate Center Pasadena located at 251 S. Lake Avenue
Live musical performances include:
- 12:00pm – 1:30pm – PASADENA SYMPHONY AND POPS – Enjoy a sampling of one of the top performing symphonic ensembles in So Cal
- 1:30pm – 6:00pm – 2AZZ1 – A fun mix of upbeat holiday music, funky jazz, blues & rock with The 2AZZ1 Band (pronounced “two as one”)
