UPDATED: Power Restored To Most Customers

Pasadena Water and Power attended to a problem with a circuit relay Sunday morning.

UPDATE, 1:42 p.m.: Power has been restored to nearly all customers after a late-morning outage put some customers in the dark.

The remaining building still without power is the Parsons East Annex Building, 75 North Fair Oaks Avenue. Power should be restored to the building shortly, said Valerie Howard, spokesperson for Pasadena Water and Power.

The exact cause is not immediately known, but the outage was not that long lasting, Howard said.

The power was restored around 1 p.m., about 20 to 30 minutes ago, according to PWP personnel.

Original: An issue with a circuit relay has caused the power to be knocked out in at least some parts of town around Old Town, according to Pasadena Water and Power.
